Apply

Cursor is an AI developer tool used by many of the world’s top engineering teams. As an early member of our growth team, you'll be critical in developing and executing demand generation initiatives that accelerate enterprise adoption of Cursor.

This person will have significant autonomy to own growth goals and lead high-impact experiments, working closely with sales, marketing, and engineering.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, execute, and analyze outbound experiments from hypothesis to conclusion with rigor, with the goal of discovering outlier plays to double down on

  • Craft copy tailored to email / LinkedIn with tasteful messaging that captures the value of the product and our target audience

  • Manage the inbox in real-time and funnel leads to sales reps

  • Collaborate with sales to ensure messaging resonates for both technical and business buyers

  • Construct highly targeted lists for outbound (driven by PLG data, website intent, content engagement, etc.)

Who You Are

  • 1-5 years at a high-velocity startup where you owned growth experiments end-to-end

  • Experience dialing up outbound via cold email and LinkedIn

  • Proven A/B testing track record - move fast on copy, channels, and audience hypotheses

  • Comfortable wearing “analyst + creative” hats: SQL/spreadsheets by morning for list building, content copywriting by afternoon

  • Fearless experimentation - you are always thinking out of the box and are unafraid to fail

  • Strong bias toward action, not afraid to dive into the weeds and do whatever it takes to ship

  • You are a natural creative who can execute with precision

  • Fast-moving, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a high-context, high-trust environment

  • Nice-to-haves

    • Tool fluency - you are familiar with growth tools like Salesforce, Clay, Unify, Phantom Buster

    • Have experience with PLG signals to pinpoint high-intent users

About

Our mission is to automate coding. The first step in our journey is to build the best tool for professional programmers, using a combination of inventive research, design, and engineering.

Our organization is very flat, and our team is small and talent dense. We particularly like people who are truthseeking, passionate, and creative. We enjoy spirited debate, crazy ideas, and shipping code.

We're in-person with cozy offices in North Beach, San Francisco and Manhattan, New York, replete with well-stocked libraries.
