Field Marketing Manager, Healthcare / SLED

Apply

Our mission is to automate coding. The first step in our journey is to build the best tool for professional programmers, using a combination of inventive research, design, and engineering. Our organization is very flat, and our team is small and talent dense. We particularly like people who are truth-seeking, passionate, and creative. We enjoy spirited debate, crazy ideas, and shipping code.

About the role

As our Field Marketing Manager for Healthcare / SLED, you will be the primary growth engine and lead marketing architect for Healthcare and State, Local & Education (SLED) — responsible for pulling together people and resources to build a full GTM marketing motion that lands and expands some of the company’s largest, most critical named accounts in these verticals.

This role sits in the Public Sector organization. You’ll help support Public Sector overall, with a clear focus on Healthcare and SLED, and you’ll collaborate across adjacent verticals where motions overlap (including Life Sciences events).

We are looking for a high-energy, revenue-minded marketing strategist who can alternate between strategic pipeline and account planning with vertical sales and flawless execution of industry experiences for customer executives. If you are obsessed with driving pipeline from high-touch, standout programs and are a self-starter who thrives at the intersection of technical innovation, healthcare / public-sector narrative, and enterprise GTM, we want you.

This is a remote role with travel for industry programs and customer engagements.

What You’ll Do

Pipeline Architecture & Vertical Ownership

  • Own the Healthcare / SLED GTM: Build and execute a data-driven marketing plan for Healthcare and SLED, and orchestrate core business partners into one motion aimed at must-win accounts.

  • Master the Land & Expand: Own the vertical pipeline target. Design and run the programs that help priority accounts land, expand, and adopt more of the platform, focused where the commercial opportunity is highest.

  • Creative Agility: Fearlessly think outside the standard playbook to deploy memorable in-person, virtual, and next-gen experiences — and the operational workflows that bring them to life.

  • Industry Narrative: Translate the Cursor (now part of SpaceXAI) mission into healthcare and SLED language — the problems these buyers already feel (clinical / payer / provider / state & education IT), the outcomes they are measured on, and why this platform is the answer. Partner with PMM and corporate marketing so the story stays sharp, consistent, and specific enough that a CIO, CMIO, or public-sector technology leader hears their world, not a generic AI pitch.

  • Sales Partner: Act as the strategic marketing partner to Healthcare and SLED sales. Lead planning calls, provide account-level insights, analyze vertical pipeline trends, lock alignment on priority accounts, and maximize the impact of every motion. Know what you run as Vertical vs what you plug into Enterprise Field formats. Support broader Public Sector needs as needed.

Measurement & Operational Excellence

  • Event Orchestration: Obsess over the end-to-end details of every program — ideation, promotion, vendor management, onsite, and follow-up — going beyond day-of execution.

  • Data-Driven Iteration: Track every dollar spent against pipeline generated. Manage your vertical budget toward high-impact investments on critical accounts.

  • Feedback Loop: Serve as the eyes and ears of Healthcare and SLED. Feed Corporate and PMM real-time feedback on messaging resonance and competitive shifts.

Your DNA

  • The Healthcare Vertical Owner: You assemble Sales, PMM, Enterprise Field, FE/Solutions, and CS/ADM into one motion aimed at pipeline on the company’s largest accounts, not just events. 5–7+ years of healthcare marketing / GTM experience is required (provider, payer, health systems, health tech, or adjacent). You know how to sell into healthcare buying centers and can partner credibly with sales on complex, regulated accounts.

  • The Revenue Mindset: You care about pipeline and closed-won, not leads. You speak sales and will be held to a number.

  • The Gritty Optimizer: A self-starter who can build a program from a blank page and tighten it with the data.

  • Exceptional Communicator: Sharp and persuasive, whether it’s a personal invite to a CIO / CMIO or a QBR for leadership.

Technical & Tactical Toolkit

  • Field Presence: Ability to travel (~30%) to host industry programs, support Vertical Sales, and connect with customers in-market.

  • Event Craft: Experience producing high-end, white-glove executive experiences — including industry-flagship overlays (e.g. HIMSS / CHIME / HLTH-class motions) and 1:few vertical ABM — that stand out in a crowded market.
