One of the best parts of working on Cursor is collaborating with such an excellent team. We wanted to take a moment to highlight a representative sample of the great people we get to work with:
-
Aman Karmani - VP of Infra at Github, creator of the Github merge button and built some of the world's best ruby profilers.
-
Jeremy Stribling - founding engineer at Keybase building core distributed systems, led development for KBFS. Led security for Zoom as a senior principal engineer.
-
Jacob Jackson - inventor of Tabnine (the first code completion tool), same.energy, and Supermaven (the first shipped 1M context model). Early researcher at OpenAI, where he independently invented speculative decoding.
-
Ian Huang - created Voxelize, a high-performance game engine for multiplayer Minecraft in the browser.
-
Sasha Rush - professor at Cornell, worked on improving efficiency, reasoning and long-context abilities of language models.
-
Alex Haugland - performance lead for Google Search and built trace search for APM at Datadog as a senior staff engineer.
-
Ryo Lu - founding designer at Notion.
-
Lukas Möller - built Cursor's in-house high performance inference engine in 2 weeks, previously VP of engineering at DeepJudge.
-
Jack Gallagher - led the pretraining and RL of Midjourney v2-v7.
-
Michael Feldstein - built prototyping at Figma, founding work on the Figma AI team, and the social VR team at Meta.
