Our organization is very flat, and our team is small and talent dense. We particularly like people who are truth-seeking, passionate, and creative. We enjoy spirited debate, crazy ideas, and shipping code.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with business leaders to understand organizational needs and translate them into recruiting strategies and role definitions.

  • Own the end-to-end recruiting process for business roles, from sourcing through close.

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates through direct outreach, networking, referrals, and creative sourcing strategies.

  • Drive an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring every interaction reflects Cursor’s culture and values.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to design structured, fair, and effective interview processes.

  • Provide market insights and data to help inform hiring decisions and workforce planning.

  • Partner with People Operations to support offer design, negotiation, and onboarding.

  • Manage recruiting systems and processes, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.

  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives and help position Cursor as a top destination for business talent.

  • Continuously improve recruiting processes to increase efficiency, quality of hire, and scalability.

You may be a fit if

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 3 years focused on business, G&A, or corporate functions in high-growth technology companies.

  • Proven track record of hiring across functions such as Operations, Finance, Legal, People, Recruiting, Strategy, or other business-critical teams.

  • Strong sourcing skills with experience leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, talent databases, and creative networking approaches.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and partner effectively with executives and hiring managers.

  • Data-driven approach to recruiting, with experience using ATS and reporting tools.

  • Strong closing skills and ability to navigate complex offer negotiations.

  • Passion for building teams, shaping culture, and helping people thrive in fast-paced environments.

  • Excitement about AI, developer productivity, and scaling a company shaping the future of software development.
