SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today, SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of making life multiplanetary and expanding consciousness to the stars.

SpaceXSI is building Super Intelligence to help humanity understand the universe. Our teams are building the full Super Intelligence stack: from our Colossus supercomputers, to Grok models, to our suite of applications, including Grok Bot, Grok Build, Grok Imagine, Grok Voice, and X. We're creating a powerful flywheel where more compute trains better models, better models power more useful products, and what we learn from people using those products shapes what we build next.

About the role

This is a builder-first role. SpaceXSI is building its first formal marketing operations function, and we're looking for a technical, hands-on leader to own the strategy side of it. You'll work directly with our Marketing executives as their operational right hand, turning a fast-growing marketing organization into one that's measurable, accountable and tightly tied to pipeline.

The foundation is already in place. Our core data model (campaigns, moments and leads flowing into MQLs for sales) is well built and working. Your job is to design everything that sits on top of it: how we attribute pipeline, how we structure and run campaigns, which metrics we report on, and how leads get to sales. You'll partner closely with our Revenue Operations systems team, who build and implement what you design.

Very little here is set in stone, so you'll have real ownership over how marketing operations works at SpaceXSI. Rev ops support is also expanding into other parts of the SpaceX business, which may open up a broader scope over time.

Responsibilities

  • Design and drive our multi-touch attribution model in your first 6 months. You'll define the methodology, get stakeholders aligned on the trade-offs, and partner with the systems team as they build it.

  • Redesign how campaigns are created, structured and managed in Salesforce so they're consistent, reportable and easy for the team to use.

  • Define the core marketing metrics, align marketing, sales and leadership on them, and track them consistently using dashboards and queries you build yourself in Databricks and Salesforce.

  • Own the marketing-to-sales handoff so MQLs reach sales and SDRs in a form that's easy to act on.

  • Launch and run a recurring pipeline council that reviews marketing performance, how it affects pipeline, and where to invest next.

  • Bring structure and clear ownership to marketing operations by setting priorities and preventing duplicated work, and partner with marketing leadership on planning, ROI tracking and spend decisions.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing operations or revenue operations at SaaS or consumption-model companies, including experience leading the function

  • Experience running a pipeline council or similar review that ties marketing performance to pipeline and investment decisions

  • Hands-on technical skills, including writing SQL, building your own dashboards, and working with Salesforce data structures such as campaigns, campaign members and leads

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at both product-led growth (PLG) and sales-led growth (SLG) companies, with a clear sense of how marketing operations differs between them

  • Deep expertise in multi-touch attribution, including designing and owning a model end to end and explaining its trade-offs to stakeholders

  • Experience growing a marketing operations team, with clear ownership and priorities

  • Experience launching a marketing operations function from the ground up
