Delete your Grok Bot account
Grok Bot uses your Cursor account. Deleting it is self-serve and permanent.
How do I delete my Grok Bot account on iOS?
- Open Grok Bot and tap your account avatar to open Settings
- Tap your account
- Tap Delete Account and confirm
- In the browser page, type Delete and confirm again
The browser asks you to sign in first so deletion re-proves your identity.
How do I delete my Grok Bot account on desktop or the web?
Grok Bot does not have a separate account. Delete the Cursor account you use to sign in.
Follow Delete your account:
- Cancel your subscription first if it is active. See Plans and billing and Cancel your subscription
- Go to cursor.com/dashboard
- Scroll to Advanced Account Settings
- Click Delete Account and confirm
Desktop Grok Bot can sign you out. It does not delete the account.
Can I delete Grok Bot without deleting my Cursor account?
No. Grok Bot signs in with your Cursor account. Signing out of Grok Bot or uninstalling the app leaves the account in place.
What gets deleted when I delete my account?
- Your Cursor account and Grok Bot access
- Grok Bot agents, chats, computers, and connected plugins
- Cursor chat history and settings
All data is removed within 30 days.
What is not affected by account deletion?
- Files on your computer stay on your machine
- If you subscribed through the App Store, cancel that subscription in Apple's settings. See Subscribe from the mobile app
- If you linked SuperGrok, that Grok subscription is separate. Cancel it on Grok if you no longer want it
What if I don't see Delete Account?
On cursor.com, Delete Account appears for personal accounts. If you are on a Cursor Teams or Enterprise seat, ask a team admin or contact support.
On iOS, Delete Account is in Settings under your account.
