Account deletion is self-serve and permanent.
How do I delete my account?
- Cancel your subscription first (if active) via Billing > Manage Subscription > Cancel Subscription
- Go to cursor.com/dashboard
- Scroll to Advanced Account Settings
- Click Delete Account and confirm
How do I delete a Grok Bot account?
Grok Bot uses your Cursor account. Deleting the Cursor account also deletes Grok Bot. On iOS, you can start this from Grok Bot Settings. See Delete your Grok Bot account.
What gets deleted when I delete my account?
- Your account and all associated data
- Chat history and settings
All data is removed within 30 days.
What is not affected by account deletion?
- Local project files on your computer remain untouched
- Any code you wrote using Cursor stays on your machine
