# Linear, Slack, Notion, and other tools

Connect Cursor to project management, communication, and other external tools through Cloud Agent integrations and MCP.

## How do I connect Linear?

Linear is a Cloud Agent integration. To set it up:

1. Go to [Cursor integrations](https://www.cursor.com/dashboard/integrations)
2. Click **Connect** next to Linear
3. Authorize your Linear workspace and select a team
4. Complete Cloud Agent setup (connect a repository provider, enable usage-based pricing, confirm privacy settings)

Once connected, you can delegate Linear issues to Cursor or mention `@Cursor` in Linear comments to start a Cloud Agent.

## How do I connect Slack?

Slack is also a Cloud Agent integration. To set it up:

1. Go to [Cursor integrations](https://www.cursor.com/dashboard/integrations)
2. Click **Connect** next to Slack
3. Install the Cursor app in your Slack workspace
4. Complete Cloud Agent setup (connect a repository provider, enable usage-based pricing, confirm privacy settings)

Once connected, mention `@Cursor` in any Slack channel with a prompt to start a Cloud Agent. In a thread that already has an agent, ask for a new one in natural language (for example, `@Cursor start a new agent to fix the login bug`) or use `@Cursor agent [prompt]`. Run `@Cursor help` for a full list of commands.

## How do I connect Notion?

Notion is a Cloud Agent integration in beta. To set it up:

1. In Notion, go to **Agents** in the sidebar → **New Agent** → **Cursor**
2. Pick a starting point (template or from scratch)
3. Create a Cursor User API Key from your [Cursor dashboard](https://cursor.com/dashboard/api) and enter it into Notion
4. Share the pages and databases the agent needs

You need a Notion Business or Enterprise plan and GitHub connected to your Cursor account. The integration is available to all Cursor users at no extra cost; usage is billed like Cloud Agent usage. Once set up, @mention the agent in comments or assign tasks to Cursor from a task board.

## How do I connect other tools?

Most third-party integrations work through MCP. Browse available servers in **Customize** in the sidebar, or visit the [Marketplace](/marketplace). You can also build custom MCP servers for tools that don't have one yet.
